From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The beautiful suite we stayed in was tastefully decorated, and the whole atmosphere of the old village was truly enchanting. The highlight for our family was the access to the well-furnished kitchen, living room, and a fantastic collection of DVDs and books. The homemade breakfast, featuring fresh regional products and delightful homemade cakes and bread, was a true treat. We can't wait to go back for a longer stay and highly recommend it to other families!
For dads, it would be great to have more child-friendly activities.

Extraordinary defensive wall - geometrically perfect shape. Delicious homemade breakfast. Refreshing terrace. Great experience strolling through old houses. Wonderful meal to take away. Medieval castle stay. Joyful "burricadas". Fabulous homemade food. Incredible night walking experience. Fun activities like cycling and hiking.
Nothing like having a bad experience to make you appreciate the good ones.

The breakfast was a feast of deliciousness, the terrace was a great spot for relaxing, and the old houses were like something out of a fairytale. Oh, and let's not forget the "joyful" burricadas experience!
Who needs strong air conditioning when you have a pool for keeping cool? *eye roll*

The rooms at Casa Da Cisterna are so comfy and cute. I loved the private bathroom and the fact that it had a TV and DVD player. It felt like a cozy little home away from home. As a low-budget traveler, I really appreciated these little touches.
The only thing I didn't personally enjoy was the seating area in the suite. It just didn't match my style.

The cosy rooms at Casa Da Cisterna are absolutely delightful! The private bathroom is a great convenience, and the TV and DVD player provided some entertainment during downtime. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the seating area in the suite to be a bit small. But hey, that's just my opinion, and others might still enjoy it.

The cosy rooms at Casa Da Cisterna have a homely vibe that instantly made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I loved the private bathroom in the rooms. It gave me the perfect space to unwind after a long day of exploring. Having a TV and DVD player in the room meant that I could relax and watch my favorite shows and movies whenever I wanted. The suite with a seating area was a great addition! It provided a cozy spot for me to read a book or simply relax and enjoy my stay.
While some may enjoy it, I personally found the garden views and work desk in some rooms to be a bit distracting.

The location of the hotel was simply amazing, situated in a peaceful and picturesque village. It offered a unique and historic experience, with a beautifully restored stone house and a 12th-century cistern. the rooms and common areas were thoughtfully furnished and had a homely feel. the breakfast provided was excellent and there was an option for delicious home-cooked dinner.
There were a couple of aspects that could have been better. there were some water pressure issues experienced in the morning, which was a bit inconvenient.

From the outstanding service to the exceptional breakfast, this place blew us away! The staff were super accommodating and always ready to help. The fact that they made us a delicious vegan chocolate cake just shows their dedication. The view was amazing, the swimming pool was great, and the village was stunning. The renovated old homes were comfortable and had excellent taste. We had a very relaxing time here and will definitely be coming back.

The host was super cool and helped us with everything. The view was out of this world and the swimming pool was lit. We explored the ancient village of Castelo Rodrigo and even found a sick bar nearby with craft beers and local wines. It was the bomb!
The only thing we would've loved is if they had some late-night parties or a rocking dance floor. It would've been wicked to have a place to turn up and have more fun with friends.
